Discrete optimisation of steel-concrete composite sections in simple girder bridges

چکیده

In this study, the optimisation design problem of steel-concrete composite sections in simple girder bridges is developed. Design variables including thickness desk and dimensions section are discrete to reflect realistic works. The total cost steel objective function that minimised. requirements geometry, load-carrying capacity, deformation provided TCVN 11823:2017 standard used as constraints. above solved by using Harmony Search (HS) algorithm. A 42(m) studied. numerical results show optimal designs save about 15% compared conventional method. It can be concluded applying beams brings high efficiency it easily applied practice.
